Scheduling for a league with no teams and match play

We have a league where individual players are matched against each other at the time of the event by drawing an opponents name from a hat. Points are awarded as in match play with 1 pt per hole and 3 pts for a win, Ties get 1/2 pt each and 1 1/2 pts for a tie of the overall match.
We also support "make-up" rounds where a player may play against another league member OR against Par.
I understand how to create a manual schedule and then match players against one another as needed but struggling with how to match a player against a ghost opponent (who basically will shoot par) when the ghost is not a substitute per se (i.e. they are not substituting for an existing league player).

Hi Robert S Maliszewski,
The ghost sub can only be used when 'substituted' for a regular/existing league player.
Perhaps you could use a player that had not made up his match yet for the ghost score?
After the makeup & ghost scores are entered, calculate points; then lock points/score for the makeup player & remove the ghost from the existing player.
